Always appreciate your Godly viewpoint.

I simply want to point out I'm in Central Texas.

I have worked and ministered closely with those not fully legal here. I have cared about them and loved their children through art and childrens ministries put on by my church and a city ministry that focused on these kids.

so I am not immune from sympathy. Not in the least.

But when the current American regime fails to enforce a national border, this becomes a matter of national security. And they (Federal government) are treating it as a joke. They obviously could care less if Texas is overrun.

Should Texans care about the individuals in these millions? Yes, absolutely.

Should we accept the thousands of Venezuelans that were in its prisons as actual convicted rapists and murderers? No. And many more from Mexico that are part of the cartels (proven gangs overrunning South and Central Texas).

May I ask why Mexico doesn't bear the same responsibility? Or any of these other countries, or the Catholic Church that claims they care? IN THOSE COUNTRIES!!!

And may I ask why, when I can barely squeek by and Biden is boasting about lowering drug costs (and one of my patients, I work in HC, states Bidens plan only lowers costs on about 5 drugs) and my patients can't afford necessary medication, and when printing money is causing these and many more inflationary concerns to rise higher and higher, may I ask where does fiscal responsibility come in?

We cannot sustain the 100,000's coming in every month. Legal immigration under controlled circumstances, is laudable. Our involvement in this is called for as Christians. But not uncontrolled invasion.

I know you have immediate ties to Mexico, but have you been in Texas. Near the border? I have not been recently but I have seen the pictures. Very recent ones. I know someone closely that knows Abbott.

This situation is untenable, unsustainable and dangerous. Why are American Texan lives (especially Children and Teens who may use the Fentanyl coming across the border fluidly) less important than these?

Yes, I should care more. But so should my Federal Government.

P.S. if you lived in Vancouver and 10 Princess Cruise liners full of 1000 immigrants came in every week, maybe Canadians would deal with it with the normal "keep calm and carry on" (love it by the way), but what if this happened EVERY WEEK, WEEK AFTER WEEK for 2 years. Think about that.
