That is a toughie, right? I appreciate your thought and making me think as well. Fortunately, Satan is not mentioned in the founding documents of this nation, but God is. His name is on all our currency as well. So...politics aside, I wholly agree on your message. People seem to be stuck in the baby stage of The Way...and if Jesus cast out demons almost as much as he healed the sick, what does that tell you? The sick are still here but get treated and prayed for, and the demon possessed continue on, but nobody tackles that.

Was told the nativity scenes are not allowed in the gov buildings...I would support no religious expressions, for the record. Or all of them, but not just one kind.

Very interesting discussion. Where do we draw the line? The pagans, satanists, atheists, whatever you want to call them, have stated that they are after our children. They are indoctrinating them with gender ideology, placing pornographic books in the schools, normalizing drag queens and on and on. We have to push back against all of this, but I'm not sure the destruction of the satanic display accomplished anything in that regard. Still, whether right or wrong, I can't help but be glad it was destroyed. I'm tired of being told I must be tolerant of every vile idea. As Christians we have something better to offer than what the secular world promotes. The challenge is to express our opinion in such a way that we don't seem to merely be against everything, but are seen as offering real, viable answers for life and eternity. Jesus told us we would be hated for His name, so we needn't expect to be loved and accepted.

“It is not a good sign that our culture is in such a state that there are enough people who want to erect a statue to Satan in a public place”

The truth in this statement😢

I have no idea where this image came from, but in my mind's eye, after I read your essay, I saw an old woman standing in front of the statue, being sickened by it, and praying for God to destroy it. God works through humans sometimes ...
