Remember the good ol' days when truckers were heroes. Just few months ago. Now, not so much šŸ™„

Thanks for the boots on the ground report. Hang in there. Everyday Iā€™m on a rollercoaster of emotion. Every time I step up and say something Iā€™m basically given the finger. Then I am left writhing in a froth of anger and anxiety. But I calm down. All truth tellers are hated or ignored. I read a story of a woman who every day walked with a sign warning of the injustice being ignored. She was ridiculed or ignored also. . Someone asked her why she did this without changing anyone. She replied that she did this so she would not become like them. The revolution will not be televised.

I keep seeing signs in America that people are still blind. It hasnā€™t totally come here. At least not in the Red States like mine. Texas. We enjoy some freedom. And our 2nd amendment I truly think deflects a lot of Washingtonā€™s power. We truly say ā€œDonā€™t tread on me.ā€ I used to not believe that way . I donā€™t think Jesus wants me to use a weapon like that. But Iā€™ve come to realize THIS is why those that wrote our second amendment and those that currently fight any limits to it, I may not be able to, but I see why, sadly. For you Canadians itā€™s : ā€œThe right to bear armsā€. I truly hope nothing like that that Iā€™ve implied happens but..... Texans donā€™t like government overreach.

For those opposing us (the masses I mean here) I see the blank stares, they donā€™t understand whatā€™s about to happen if we donā€™t peacefully stop it and YOUR truckers LED the way. They (the blank stare people AND the real opposers) donā€™t understand that by giving up our freedoms in the name of safety (which isnā€™t real safety anyway), means giving up your liberty. Like the frog in the pot of water that someone slowly turns up the heat, weā€™ve told ourselves, ā€œoh itā€™s nice and warm, sweet, comfortable, safeā€. No, they want to boil us alive.

I will be praying for all. It looks like you have enough to turn the tide. Praying, even singing Oh Canada with you.

But most of all , knowing that God is in control. Always and forever.

Iā€™ve heard a refrain I believe in ā€œThis was never about a virus. This was never about a vaccineā€ and I agree. But for those of us who know Jesus as Lord and kneel to His authority and His Grace, it should be about a unique opportunity to make his name great. All throughout Scripture, both old and New Testaments we see the thread of this. Davidā€™s story with Goliath wasnā€™t about defeating the giants in our lives (which is a focus on us) but on making Gods name great. Please think about that as you face your literal giants in Canada.

Have I done that today? Ouch. Not so much. But Gods grace is bigger than my failures. He can make His name great with or without me. Do I want to participate. As Jesus put it , to join Him in his work (trying t remember the reference but I believe it was HenryBlackaby , who I believe was a Canadian?), who consistently preached that we are to join Him, that He invites us to this work of Grace.

Suzanna, I donā€™t know the names of the lead guys. I know the scientists. But Iā€™d like to pray for the truckers leadership by name, can you help?

Itā€™s late and Iā€™m tired so Iā€™ll keep this short. God just overwhelmed me today with desire to hold up Daniel Nagase in prayer. Would ask same. Heā€™s such a beautiful young man, one of your Canadian MDs.

I feel exactly the same I have no idea how this polarisation of society will be resolved even if they drop all restrictions. And I can never go back to how I was before all this or see the world through the same rose coloured glasses.

I have something Iā€™d like YOU to pray about and to pray about HOW it might be done.

I believe that you, with your voice of reason, peace and love are uniquely qualified to speak to the pastors of America. I think some have woken. But many have not. And even amongst those who have woken , I think they still are holding back not wanting to join in anything that smacks of disunity and conflict and division. I agree. One of my own pastors texted me that was where he was at.

But much of what is seen on the news is seen through a lens of either disbelief, or ā€œoh that wonā€™t happen hereā€ or ā€œwe need to stay unifiedā€

I would call their attention to the US Civil war in the 1800ā€™s. Southern pastors upheld the right to own another person. Back then there was deep disunity. MLK brings to mind the more modern outcome of that.

Sometimes our pastors too need to stand up. There is real evil facing us. They need to be leading us in peace.

I would recommend you try to get a piece published in Christianity today or even try one of the Calvary Mega churches in California. Pray with me in this.

They need to see the Canadian protest as the peaceful thing it is, not the thing MSM is portraying it STILL as.

I will be praying.
