In my life, God always confirms the little things I am doing. I am reading This Present Darkness by Frank Peretti. It is an old one and has been sitting around for a long time, unread. Your writing comes hand in hand with this book today and I get the message that we had better pick a side and hold on tight. God abhors fence sitters. Nicely said. I am also one who doesn't like out and out confrontation and it makes me feel as if I am in the wrong, even when I know I am right. By letting this 'feeling' get the better of me, I am no good to anyone. Time to stand up, not stand down...that is for sure. Thank you for this today!♥

Confrontation is hard for me also. These last 2 years have completely unbalanced people--and it shows in the invective leveled on others, even from my family. The divisive ugliness in our MSM, politics, government, everything gleefully poisoning the very humanity of “the other side”. The misinformation spreaders become criminals. The hate will soon point directly at Christians for the evil needs to get in the face of those who believe in God and follow His ways. But evil is a coward, forced to use gullible people to do it for him because he IS NOT GOD. The evil knows who God and Christ are. Knows God will win. I pray for strength and discernment because soon with AI bearing down on us it will be nigh on impossible to know truth from lies. Hold tight.

My apologies for dovetailing on your comment but my substack on my old phone is only allowing me to post “replies” not actual individual comments. It does relate to your comment however. We watched a video at Church a couple weeks age that had a hopeful message about this, the more the world turns evil and queer (yes term used deliberately), the more we will “shine like lights”. In other words, the MORE weird we will look. This standing out WILL also make us targets. But it will also shine out The light of JESUS for those searching for truth.

And I would appreciate prayer. I have tweeted so much about the evils of the C jab injuries that I have a bad feeling my witness for Christ may have been dulled. My bad. I am asking God to show me what to do about this. And how to spread the Pyrenees of His love without compromising on the message about the healthcare evils.

Hi Laura, definitely speaking truth requires wisdom as to what, how, to whom, and when, which as believers we should ask God for. Jesus had quite a bit to say about not continuing to share with those who reject truth.

Laura, you have my prayers. Yes, we will stand out and incur wrath but I’m not really afraid anymore. Or as much. . I’m getting some truth out. A sermon we received in my past fundamentalist church I have never forgotten. That was 1988. The core of it was some of us will be left standing in able to pull others out of the “ruins” and minister to them as God leads us. In whatever they need. I see ruins all around me and more to come. I believe God is leading us and Christ is right beside me and you and the Holy Spirit is empowering us. The Bible says if we open our mouths he will give us the words. I need to trust in that more. Right now I’m looking at initiating a Bible study on evil. Real evil. The evil surrounding us. That my church never ever talks about. That which is on display in our faces, especially the last 3 years and being aware of what may be coming if there is not an awakening to this. I am feeling stronger pushes to do that. Still I look outside my porch windows right now and hear and see the magnificent joy of Gods creation. People drive by. Hope. There has to be a place for me to start the conversation. Please pray for that. Most of us can use that prayer. 🙏🏻🙏🏻💪.

That is exactly what this book I am reading is about. Real evil. And warfare. We are stronger than we think and it takes prayer and the name of Jesus a lot. So hard to be strong, right?

Which book are you reading? I’m reading Return of the Gods by Jonathan Cahn. Explains so much. I have a Richard rohr book on evil as well but haven’t read it yet. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I'd like to read Return of the Gods, it's been a bit expensive but I should probably take the plunge. My problem is I read so fast books don't seem worth it if I have to pay much for them. I'd be interested in your thoughts on it and whether you recommend it.
