Recently I wrote about how my “vaccinated” nephew got covid for the third time, all since being vaccinated, and was quite sick (fever, cough, body aches, loss of appetite, loss of taste and smell, inability to do anything but sleep) for several days.
I’ve had no shots, and my husband had one. We probably had covid in January 2022, but didn’t test. So I was curious whether we would end up sick.
Long story short: my husband didn’t get sick at all, and I ended up getting it as a cold that lasted about five days, with symptoms and progression basically identical to every cold I’ve ever had.
I think my immune system got overloaded by being home with my nephew all day and taking care of him, plus a night of bad sleep followed by an ill-advised workout.
Obviously this is far too small a data set to draw any broad conclusions from, but some thoughts:
It’s a good reminder that the immune system isn’t an automatic defense. We have to keep it strengthened with sufficient sleep, a positive mindset, and good nutrition, and listen to our bodies when they want to rest.
It’s laughable when people claim their mild covid cases are due to being vaccinated. I’ve had it twice now (presumably), both mild, whereas my vaccinated nephew had it far worse, and other vaccinated friends had it similarly bad at the same time
At the end of June, I got large fines for coming back to Canada with no pre-arrival test, no ArriveCan, and refusal to answer questions about whether I was “vaccinated”. Unfortunately, the mistake I made, as I’ve since learned, was talking to Public Health. There are now many videos and information online about how to handle the border crossing, and next time I know I have to refuse to talk to the red-vested ghouls from Public “Health”, who hand out fines like candy for made-up crimes although apparently they have no legal authority to do so.
The good news is these fines seem to be all tossed out if you contest them, which is what I’ve done. I indicated that I would be fighting the tickets at the end of June, and still haven’t heard back. Since then, The Democracy Fund and the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms have both filed lawsuits against the government for its use of ArriveCan. I applied to be a litigant in the TDF suit and was contacted by one of their lawyers, but just missed eligibility because of the date I was fined. Hopefully these lawsuits and increasing pressure from US Senators and border mayors, among others, will result in this app being scrapped ASAP.
Update on vaxxed vs. unvaxxed experiment and border fines
Thank you for speaking out and standing up to them!
